Prosecutors say they now know why William Douglas Allen, 45, allegedly beat Keenan Blair, 20, to death in Paia nearly seven years ago. William Douglas Allen, 45, is accused of beating Keenan Blair, 20, to death in 2020 in Paia, Hawaii. Court documents reveal that police reports only recently revealed that Allen had a grudge towards Blair, six months before his alleged murder. Allen has been living at Maui Community Correctional Center for nearly seven years awaiting trial for Blair's murder. His new attorney, Steven Slavitt, has been granted more time to prepare his case. His trial is set for March.
