No. 5 Rainbow Warriors host final two matches at home against UC Santa Barbara

The No. 5 ranked Rainbow Warriors have lost the last three of four games and are coming off a series split against Cal State Northridge which tested their play against Big West teams. The team will honor seniors Guilherme Voss, Chaz Galloway, Alaka’I Todd, Kevin Kauling, and Austin Buchanan. The night will also include a special tribute to two-time AVCA All-American Spyros Chakas, who ended his senior season due to a knee injury. The Rainbow Warriors will finish the season with a Big West finish against the UC Irvine Anteaters and the UC San Diego Tritons.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawai’i men’s volleyball team will round out their home schedule on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30 against

the No. 20 UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.

The No. 5 ranked Rainbow Warriors have lost the last three of four games and are coming off a series split against Cal State Northridge which tested their play against Big West teams.

Following Saturday’s game, the team will honor seniors Guilherme Voss, Chaz Galloway, Alaka’i Todd, Kevin Kauling, and Austin Buchanan.

The night will also honor Spyros Chakas — the two-time AVCA All-American went down with a knee injury earlier this month, ending his senior season.

Combined the seniors have a total of 302 starts.

Fans can join the team in honoring the seniors by wearing their best Aloha attire to “Show’UHM Your Aloha.”

The Rainbow Warriors will finish the season with a Big West finish on the road against the UC Irvine Anteaters and the UC San Diego Tritons.
