The attack occurred around 11:30 p.m. and was reported to have occurred around the same time as the victim, 24, who was in his vehicle at the time. The suspect has not yet been formally charged.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 38-year-old man has been arrested and is facing possible charges after he attacked a man in his vehicle late Saturday night in the Ewa Beach area, according to Honolulu police officials.
Officials say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m.
Police say the victim, a 24-year-old man, was in his vehicle at the time.
Officials are calling the attack violent but would not say what prompted it.
