Grand Canyon University's swimming and diving teams won 20 events in two days of competition against Hawai'i, including a 136.5-121.5 victory over the women's team in the women’s dual meet. The Lopes also swept the men's and women's 400-yard medley relays, including the men’ and women‘s 200 medley relay. On the men, freshman secured GCU's first victory of the meet in the 500-yard freestyle, while junior placed second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:37.68, followed by freshman in third (1:38.10), and senior in fourth (1):38.13). In diving, freshman led GCU with a third-place finish in the men't 3-meter event, scoring 284.40 points.
