TIM School enrollment continues upward trend

TIM School leaders say the upward trend comes as the school has expanded its efforts to connect with prospective students and raise awareness of its academic and career opportunities. The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Travel Industry Management ( School) has reported a 13% increase in undergraduate enrollment for fall 2026, following a 4.5% increase the previous year. This makes it two consecutive years of gains for the school, which prepares students for careers in Hawai’s tourism and hospitality industries. The school has expanded its efforts to connect with prospective students and increase awareness of its academic and career opportunities. The enrollment increase follows a seven-year decline from 2016–23. The School places an emphasis on career readiness, requiring students to complete 400 hours of practical work experience through structured internships before graduation.
