HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The woman accused in the murder of her grandchild has been denied supervised release.

Debra Geron is the biological grandmother of 10-year-old Geanna Bradley, who was found tortured and starved to death in Wahiawa in January.

A judge ruled Friday that Geron will stay in jail until her trial.

Geron and Brandy and Thomas Blas, the legal guardians of Geanna, have pleaded not guilty to numerous charges.

The judge also denied any bail for Geron.
